10 Amazing Pastel Halloween Decor Ideas for 2020 which will Inspire You

We're all familliar with the Netflix show, "Orange is the New Black" right and it's a fantastic quote. Traditionally, the main Halloween colours are considered to be Orange, Black & Purple, but this Halloween a new colour scheme has been spreading infectiously across social media - with Halloween decorations appearing in white and pastel colour schemes.

There's a few reasons for that - farmhouse decor is currently trending, this features light coloured paint - usually white or grey combined with wooden surfaces and co-ordinating baskets for storage. It's a clean, minimalist modern look which isn't too expensive to achieve and this has aided its popularity.

Another current trend embraces pastels wholeheartedly - the kawaii trend. Well known in the planner community, kawaii are cute little simple cartoon illustrations originally from Japan with pastel colour schemes or backgrounds - they've inspired whole stationery lines throughout the world and these are also incredibly popular.

Combine the two and you have the Pastel Halloween Trend of 2020 - As soon as I saw posts online of pastel coloured pumpkins, I knew I had to jump onboard so I immediately set to work painting my pumpkins in beautiful pastels and they look great don't they?
